At age 21, I was diagnosed with Graves Disease. This episode in my life was exasperated by a physically and emotionally abusive husband plus working at a company where poisons such as trichloroethylene and acetone were used to clean missile heads. These fumes lingered in the air for hours. At the time I had 3 choices to get healthy; radiation of my thyroid, surgery or a little white pill. I choose the least invasive method of treatment by taking the pills and did recover about a year later. After that, I began searching for holistic alternative medicines to overcome diseases naturally. I explored and became a practitioner of Jin Shin Jyutsu (form of acupressure). I learned how silence, compassion and strength is the connection between your mind and your body. I also found that Chia seeds keep my thyroid in balance and incorporate them into my daily green smoothie. I invite you to join me on a journey of self-discovery and fun!

FAQ

  • How long before I will see results with my gums?

    Depends on how much you are willing to learn how to heal yourself naturally. This regime does take a little bit of work- not a lot- but you will need to be consistent in your efforts. Remember this condition did not happen overnight and may not heal overnight. Please be patient with yourself.

  • Will I be able to give up not going to the dentist any longer?

    That is also up to you. You may want to check the depth of your gums to see if there is any improvement or not. I know finding a good holistic dentist is tough. In the course, I have some recommendations for you.
